Raw material pretreatment
The raw materials need to undergo screening, cleaning, crushing and other treatments to ensure uniform particle size. For example, corn needs to be crushed and sieved, with moisture controlled at 12% -14% to prepare for subsequent puffing.
Squeezing and puffing
The core step is to gelatinize starch through high temperature and high pressure (120-180 ℃), and form a porous structure after decompression by the mold head. The parameters (temperature, pressure, screw speed) directly affect the puffing effect.
Cutting and drying
The puffed material is shaped and cut by a mold, and then dried at low temperature to reduce moisture, forming a brittle and hard texture and extending the shelf life.
Seasoning and packaging
Add grease and fragrance by spraying or rolling, seal and package after cooling to prevent moisture. Seasoning should be accurately weighed according to the formula to avoid moisture affecting the flavor.
