The production process of puffed turtle and rabbit food mainly includes the following steps:
Raw material pretreatment: Firstly, the raw materials need to be pretreated, including cleaning impurities, crushing into appropriate particle size, and uniformly mixing. This step ensures the purity and uniformity of the raw materials
Puffing treatment: Send the mixed raw materials into the puffing machine for high-temperature and high-pressure treatment. The puffing machine squeezes raw materials into various shapes of particles through the rotational motion of twin-screw, and expands them under high temperature and pressure. This process requires the addition of starch as a binder to ensure particle formation, while high-temperature treatment causes starch gelatinization
Drying: The expanded particles need to be dried by a multi-layer mesh belt dryer to remove excess moisture and achieve the appropriate moisture content. This step ensures the shelf life and stability of the product
Seasoning and Cooling: The dried granules will undergo automatic seasoning to enhance their taste and flavor. After seasoning, cool the product to ensure it reaches the appropriate temperature before packaging
Quality control: Strictly control the quality throughout the entire production process, including nutrient analysis, physical property testing (such as particle size, hardness, puffiness), and microbial index testing (such as total bacterial count, pathogenic bacteria, etc.), to ensure the safety and health of the product
