The production process of cat litter mainly includes the following steps:
Raw material mixing: Pour bentonite powder, auxiliary materials, additives, and spices into the mixer, control the mixer speed to 700 revolutions per minute, and stir for 20 minutes to fully mix the raw materials evenly. ‌
Granulation: Send the mixed raw materials into the granulator for granulation treatment to obtain particulate matter. Potassium permanganate solution and water glass solution can be added during the granulation process to increase disinfection and sterilization effects and polymerization power. ‌
Drying: Dehydrate and dry the granulated wet cat litter. Usually, a drum dryer or microwave heating is used for drying, with the temperature controlled at 103 ℃ for 13 minutes, to reduce the moisture content to below 6%.
Screening and packaging: Place the dried particles in a screening machine for grading and screening, and then package them after screening.
