4. Expansion: Send the mixed ingredients into the expansion machine for high-temperature and high-pressure treatment. During the puffing process, the feed is at high temperature (110-200 ℃) and high pressure (25-100kg/cm) ²） In the environment, through the action of steam, the mixture is subjected to high temperature and high pressure in a short period of time, undergoing physical and chemical changes, causing the mixture to expand and become small molecules, improving the solubility and feeding value of feed.
5. Cooling and drying: The expanded feed is cooled through a cooler to avoid damage and discoloration caused by high temperatures. Meanwhile, in order to further remove excess moisture from the feed, drying treatment is also necessary.
6. Subsequent processing: This includes steps such as oil spraying to increase the nutritional content and taste of the feed.
7. Packaging and storage: The cooled feed is packaged using woven or prefabricated packaging bags, and the product name, specifications, production date, shelf life, and other information are indicated on the packaging bags. Then, store the packaged feed for future use.
Throughout the entire process, strict control is required at every step to ensure the quality and safety of the feed. At the same time, in order to save energy consumption and improve production efficiency, modern puffed fish feed production lines also use advanced automation equipment and control systems.
